Meet Maggie and Sneaky. Both are recovering from thrush and white lines. We have been battleling white lines for a while now. But we were shocked to pick out their feet one day and blood spurted out of Maggie rear hind foot. This thrush had little or no odor. So now we had a second battle on our hands.

This is the donkey pens. On the left is where they are kept together until it is feeding time. We put Maggie in the pen to the right while Sneaky eats his equine senior. We put a canopy over their hay to protect the hay from rain. Donkeys can eat without getting wet.
Pens are cleaned daily in the summer and weekly in the winter.
